Food is always amazing. Kylie was our server and we couldn't ask for a better server! She was great! We love Darby's!

First time here and came in for lunch. As we came in we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us near the window. Kirsten was our waitress and gave us some great recommendations. My father had the pulled pork and I had the Larry's incredible beef. Both of the dishes were well portioned. Definitely worth the money. My sandwich was delicious, I had a side of onion ring they were cooked nicely. Kirsten was very attentive, and kept our drink full. I drink a lot so that is something that is important to me.

Great food. Excellent atmosphere. Unique options. Ofcourse since its in downtown Redlands it is a great place to stop with friends or family. The service was good. We were towards the back hidden away. Next time I would like to experience being in thick of restaurant.

On my last visit here the security guard asked my age almost apologetically before allowing me entrance, saying he had to ask. He did not seek any written proof of age afterward, probably because my white hair was ample confirmation of adult status. I would have been flattered if the reason for the inquiry had been based on a suspicion that my physical appearance indicated that I might not be 21. But, alas that did not occur. Bacon Wrapped Shrimp was again a superb starter, with really plump and hot shrimps. And, Classic Chili with Kidney Beans was also hot and excellent. Then I moved on to an Ancho Pulled Pork Sandwich wtih Onion Rings that were good and crunchy but varied widely in size. And I only detected a slight barbecue flavor in the pulled pork. Meanwhile, Diane again enjoyed her Orange Street Fish & Chips with French Fries. We received fine service amid a festive atmosphere of happy cantina goers mostly in their 20s. Demographically we looked out of place, but didn't really care. Most important to us here as elsewhere are the quality and variety of food served. And we both really like tavern food done right.

the food was so delicious i got the bbq ribs with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and it was a 9.5/10 for me. I'm not a bid fan of coleslaw but the one i got tasted so good, mashed potatoes yummm and the ribs just fell off the bone only thing is that i got some hard pieces (from the bone im guessing). Our waiter was so welcoming to us, checked up on our table every time she passed by 10/10 service. The vibe was amazing too, everyone was chill, not loud, good vibes i loved it.

I'm on a new kick where I don't review a place until I've visited a few times. I typically come here for lunch and it's nice and quiet. However, I'm writing this review on a Friday during happy hour with a big game on. First things first, GREAT place to watch a game (without sound). So many TV's. Not a seat in the house where you can't see the game. Sound would be nice, but it's fine. Food: I've tried various appetizers and entrees. Everything has been fresh and delicious. No complaints whatsoever about food. Service isn't bad either. I would say it's above average considering it's a bar. Overall a fan of this place. I will continue to come back.

In the heart of downtown Redlands lies Darbys, a quaint establishment known for its diner-esque charm and vibrant ambiance. Despite its unassuming setting, Darbys never fails to surprise with its culinary offerings. A recent visit left me thoroughly impressed.. particularly by the 8oz steak served alongside creamy mashed potatoes, au jus sauce, and perfectly cooked asparagus. Not your typical steakhouse fare, the quality of the cut and its medium-rare preparation spoke volumes. Their attention to detail in plating, reminiscent of higher-end establishments..... At $28, there is GREAT value for such a satisfying meal. It's safe to say Darbys has earned a loyal patron. Here's to many more delightful experiences !! ( Cheers )
